Senior Oracle Developer

Location: Dublin - 3 days onsite per week

Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our clients team on a contract basis. This role is based in Dublin and will require you to be onsite 3 days per week. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL development as well as knowledge of Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
• Ensure performance tuning and code optimization across Oracle databases
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Support and maintain existing PL/SQL applications

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (12c or later preferred)
• Experience with ETL tools
• Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with data modeling and relational database design
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Background in Financial Services or large-scale enterprise environments
