Job Description
About the role 
Senior Operations Manager for the Pensions Administration team at Barnett Waddingham. Full time, permanent, hybrid role based in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Guildford, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham or Amersham.
Responsibilities- Oversee day to day operation of the Pension Administration Change Team services and act as line manager for Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Support roles.
- Manage, organise and motivate the team to provide a quality service, ensuring service standards are met and control procedures are followed.
- Play a significant role in short to medium term planning; adapt plans and priorities to address resource issues and operational challenges, considering wider change deliverables and managing expectations.
- Contribute to long term planning of resourcing and system developments to align with future change needs and support business development opportunities.
- Identify and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Manage operational issues and conflicts, remove barriers, communicate with stakeholders and escalates when required.
- Financial services experience is essential.
- Appropriate Change Management qualification (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Change delivery expertise.
- Strong leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
