For a customer project, we are looking for a

Senior Operational Data Fabric Expert (m/f/d) - 100% remote

We are seeking an external consultant for the concept and evaluation of a product-centric Operational Data Fabric connecting the digital thread and semantic layer.

Scope of work:

Consolidate requirements and priority use cases across SAP/ERP, Teamcenter/PLM, MES/QMS and Data Lakehouse on Databricks.

Design the target/gap architecture for iPaaS connectivity, product memory, master data backbone, Software/Parameter of products, ontology/knowledge graph, APIs and IAM.

Evaluate build/buy/blend options and potentially lead PoCs for interfaces, event flows, graph/RDF and read APIs.

Expected deliverables:

Requirements baseline, target architecture and evaluation backlog.

Vendor/technology fit and cost comparison, make-or-buy recommendation and PoC decision package.

Operating model, governance and phased 2027 rollout plan with dependencies and key decisions.

Required profile:

Senior data/solution architect with manufacturing Data Fabric and digital-thread delivery experience.

Hands-on iPaaS, event integration, API management, SAP/Teamcenter/MES, metadata/DataOps and graph/RDF/OWL; strong vendor and PoC leadership.
