Senior Network Support Engineer (FTC) - Banking & Finance

The company is looking for a Network Engineer to support highly available, low-latency network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments within a leading global trading environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as escalation point within the Network Operations team
• Troubleshoot and support complex routing & switching environments
• Work with BGP, OSPF, MPLS and multicast
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and network security
• Handle major incidents, escalations and real-time network issues
• Support customer connectivity and production network changes
• Analyse network performance and packet-level issues

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong routing & switching experience (BGP, Multicast)
• Strong firewall experience (Any next gen firewalls)
• Experience in high-availability or latency-sensitive environments
• Linux/Unix skills - desirable
• Python, scripting or network automation - desirable

Location:

• London, Hybrid

Salary:

• Up to £150,000 (Depending on experience)
