Responsibilities:

• Internal support desk - escalation support
• Mentor and support the Senior Network Support Engineer
• Network architecture & delivery
• 50/50 core networking focus, 80/20 customer-facing
• Interest in cybersecurity is a bonus - helping develop new service offerings
• Some exposure to AWS/Azure cloud and infrastructure (HP Servers, VMware, Wintel)

Tech Stack:

• Juniper core - L2/L3 VPNs
• Fortinet Firewalls (advantageous)
• MikroTik, FireBrick
• Will consider a Cisco ASR Network Engineer

Ideal Requirements:

• ISP experience preferred
• JNCIP-level knowledge (certification a bonus but not essential)
• Remote-first role - occasional meetups in Manchester (2x per year)
• Ideally based in the North UK (Birmingham/Manchester area)

Salary:

• £65,000 + Flexible Remote Working
