Outstanding contract opportunity to join this global, market leading, B2B SaaS tech business as a Senior MySQL DBA with extensive experience in AWS Aurora. This business is embracing AI and bleeding edge development practices and offers the opportunity to help them to evolve their environment.

We're looking for a Senior MySQL DBA with extensive MySQL and AWS Aurora expertise to join this fast-paced programme.

You'll require the following skills and experience:

• Deep DBA expertise with MySQL and AWS Aurora
• Experience upgrading MySQL Aurora 2 to MySQL Aurora 3
• Proven track record of query optimisation, schema tuning and indexing strategies in production environments
• Expertise with cloud native databases and performance optimisation in AWS
• Extensive experience of database monitoring, profiling and troubleshooting tools
• Hands on experience with large scale database upgrades and migrations
• Outstanding communications skills and proven ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers and cloud ops teams
• Ability to start within 2 weeks

£500-550 per day, OUTSIDE IR35. 7 months. 100% remote
