Senior MLOps Engineer - AI Consultancy Manchester £65k-£80k + Equity + Benefits

We're hiring a Senior MLOps Engineer to join a fast-growing AI consultancy based in Manchester City Centre (3 days on-site). You'll take ownership of production ML systems and help shape how models are deployed, scaled, and maintained for clients.

What you'll be doing

• Leading deployment and scaling of ML systems for client projects
• Working closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers in a collaborative, pair-programming environment
• Owning features end-to-end, from design through to production support
• Participating in sprint planning and architectural decision-making
• Improving best practices around experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring

What we're looking for

• 3+ years' experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
• Strong production Python experience
• Hands on experience training and serving ML models
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit learn
• Strong working knowledge of Docker, Linux, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Experience deploying systems you've helped design
• Excellent communication skills
• Eligible for SC clearance

Nice to have

• Practical MLOps experience in live environments
• Kubernetes and IaC
• Experience with LLM or agent based systems
• Open source contributions or technical writing
