JOB SUMMARY
CDW's Microsoft Solutions team is a group of Solutions Architects and Specialists that is part of the wider Microsoft Practice .
The role has three key areas of responsibility, which are broken down by:
Act as a senior architect, using a combination of your own expertise and the wider team to own opportunities, engage with customers, and win enterprise-scale business across the Microsoft Azure stack.
Support the development of the team and department by contributing to projects and helping junior members achieve their career goals.
Develop and maintain your skills through research, self-guided learning, labs, and formal training/accreditation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Opportunities - Work with customers, partners, and sales teams to qualify opportunities and deliver Microsoft and other technology solutions.
Documentation - Produce high-quality documentation.
Handover - Support smooth project handovers to delivery teams and act as an escalation point during their lifecycle.
CDW and Azure Evangelist - Promote CDW capabilities to customers in a credible and relatable manner, differentiating through productized services, consulting, and Microsoft expertise.
Internal Collaboration - Build relationships across Sales, Professional Services, Managed Services, and the wider CDW community.
Partner Engagement - Develop strong Microsoft ecosystem relationships, stay updated with offerings, and advise customers as an independent expert.
Commercial Acumen - Understand the commercial impact of solutions and assist in solution selection to meet budgets and expectations.
Sales Enablement - Provide technical guidance to sales teams and promote team capabilities.
Customer Retention - Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer environments.
Management Support - Contribute to team meetings, appraisals, and provide cover for leadership as needed.
Accreditation - Attain and maintain relevant certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem, capable of owning and winning complex opportunities across customer segments.
Advanced Azure expertise, with specialization in Data, AI, or Cybersecurity preferred.
Ability to lead transformational customer journeys delivering quick benefits and maximizing engagement scope.
Experience selling professional and managed services.
A passion for learning and delivering presales expertise across technologies.
