Location: Oxford, MS
CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an experienced engineer to support our Energy Solutions offices. The division is rapidly expanding, and the ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and possesses strong technical skills to lead all project phases. Engineers with backgrounds in HVAC design and commissioning are encouraged to transition into energy engineering within our group.
The Senior Engineer will lead all aspects of performance contracts, serving as the primary client contact from conception to completion. Responsibilities include:
- Introducing and explaining performance contracting to potential clients.
- Articulating CMTA's unique approach to performance contracting.
- Leading development phases, including site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
- Directing the engineering design team on drawings and specifications.
- Managing the bidding process.
- Developing final contracts with clients.
- Collaborating with construction managers to ensure smooth construction phases.
- Overseeing the commissioning process.
- Participating during the warranty phase as needed.
- Working with M&V professionals on the first-year M&V report.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
