About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in printing machinery for labels, packaging, and boards, among others.


The Senior Mechanical Designer is a key role responsible for the design and elaboration of manufacturing orders and it reports to The Head of the Engineering Department. The office location is Barcelona, Spain.


Responsibilities:

• Design and elaboration of manufacturing orders for rotary printing machines.

• Collaboration with the sales, purchasing, and manufacturing departments.

• Preparation of operation and spare parts manuals.


Qualifications/ Competencies:

• "CFGS Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior Diseño en Fabricación Mecánica" or "Ingeniero

Técnico Mecánico"

• Experience with 3D, 2D Drawing and GD&T for serial manufacturing, PDM/PLM systems and

BOM structuring.

• Expert user of Creo Parametric (it is a must)

• Desirable knowledge of Autocad and Solid Edge/Solidworks.

• Languages: Spanish (or Catalan) and speak English B2 level.

• Proactive and curious person.

• The role is on-site work (not working at home). Place of residence within a reasonable distance

of Rotatek.


Minimum Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in designing machinery (mainly assemblies with machined and sheet

metal parts).
