Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for delivering best-in-class Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager to join our team, owning and driving a key component of a total talent solution for a major financial services organization in the insurance sector.
This isn't just a management role; it's a chance to be at the forefront of strategic workforce planning and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the non-permanent workforce, from requisition to offboarding, and everything in between.
What You'll Be DoingStrategic Leadership: You will own and drive the MSP solution, providing consultative and forward-thinking talent services to our client. You'll be an expert at influencing hiring managers and senior stakeholders to make smart, cost-effective hiring decisions.
Performance & Data: You'll use market intelligence and talent insights to guide client conversations and improve service delivery. You'll work with the performance manager to ensure reporting is accurate and that the data tells a clear, informative story. You'll also use this data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Operational Excellence: You'll ensure MSP governance is a top priority, adhering to all processes and policies and rolling out necessary regulatory and legislative changes. You'll also work closely with our Global Business Services (GBS) team to ensure efficient sourcing and administration.
Client & Candidate Experience: You will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process, leveraging your expertise with VMS (Vendor Management System) tools.
Financial & Account Growth: You will work with the senior leadership team to ensure accurate financial forecasting and identify growth opportunities, such as the reclassification of workers and the development of Statements of Work (SOW).
Continuous Improvement: As a key member of the account's senior leadership team, you will champion best practices and take ownership of projects designed to grow, change, or improve the client's service.
Proven experience managing a team within an MSP service environment.
Demonstrable experience delivering an MSP solution within a demanding industry, such as financial services or professional services.
Confident and competent user of a VMS (Vendor Management System). Experience with a CRM (Workday is a bonus) is a distinct advantage.
A strong track record of building relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
Solid experience working in an environment with challenging SLAs and KPIs.
A great understanding of UK legislation and proven experience delivering change projects in this space.
Experience with cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects in a non-permanent recruitment setting.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides for data analysis and presenting.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, such as payroll and contractor care.
