Sitting at the heart of a multi-year transformation journey to modernise our IT capabilities and platforms across BT and Plusnet, the Senior Manager, Multi-brand Capability Transformation will lead from the front in shaping and executing a bold technology strategy that powers the customer experience across both brands.

What you'll be doing
  • Setting and owning the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Multi-brand Capabilities Cluster, ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of the Consumer Tribe.
  • Leading a high-performing team of Product Managers and indirectly guiding over 50 cross-functional team members across multiple squads to deliver complex technology solutions.
  • Building and managing a prioritised product backlog that balances customer outcomes, commercial impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Defining and driving the execution of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) for the cluster; ensuring consistent translation to squad-level goals.
  • Championing a customer-centric approach, incorporating insights from customer feedback, market trends, and competitor analysis to shape product direction.
  • Making critical prioritisation decisions and trade-offs in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Driving performance and accountability using delivery and outcome-based KPIs; fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, including Product Directors, Brand teams, Digital & Consumer leadership, and frontline colleagues to align priorities and ensure cross-functional coordination.
Experience needed to be successful in the role
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex IT and digital capability transformations, ideally in a multi-brand or multi-product context (TM Forum knowledge would be a strong asset).
  • Deep product management expertise across the end-to-end lifecycle - including product strategy, road mapping, backlog management, user research, and UX design.
  • Proven experience delivering major digital or IT transformation on time, to budget and at a high quality whilst leading large virtual teams (50+ people), across multiple product squads.
  • Expert-level capability in setting vision, defining OKRs, and executing against them using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong commercial and customer acumen - able to make data-driven decisions and articulate clear customer value propositions.
  • Skilled at stakeholder management across senior levels; able to influence without authority.
  • Exceptional communicator and structured thinker who inspires confidence, drives outcomes, and fosters collaboration.
  • Experience in telco, consumer digital services, or other regulated, high-scale and complex industries.
  • Exposure to platform architecture and an understanding of technology feasibility considerations with hands-on experience with partner selection or vendor management.
  • Proficiency in using experimentation and product discovery techniques to shape product direction.
