Join Sony Europe in a pivotal role shaping how we invest and optimise media across Europe. The role is a 12 month fixed term contract, leading the strategic governance of category media investments across our European markets. You will drive alignment and performance consistency across central campaigns, local markets, D2C and retail media, establish KPI frameworks, resolve inefficiencies across fragmented media activities, and ensure investments deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities- Media Strategy & Investment Governance: Lead strategic alignment and governance of media investments across European markets, establishing frameworks and identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Cross Channel Media Alignment: Oversee coordination of media activities across all channels, resolving duplication and inefficiencies while ensuring alignment with category priorities and commercial objectives.
- Local Market Media Governance: Lead quarterly media reviews with European market teams, guiding on planning alignment and KPI management while driving consistency in best practices.
- Performance, Analytics & KPI Leadership: Drive performance oriented media management by monitoring investment effectiveness and leveraging data insights to optimise strategic decisions and recommendations.
- Agency & Platform Leadership: Collaborate with media agencies and external partners to enhance planning quality, operational efficiency and performance outcomes.
- Media Operations & Reporting: Oversee media reporting operations, data quality and analytics coordination to ensure timely, accurate visibility of media performance across the organisation.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across marketing, strategy, digital and regional teams to ensure media investments align with business objectives and support insight led decision making.
- Significant experience in paid media, media strategy or integrated media planning for consumer industries.
- Experience optimising mid to large scale media investments across multiple European markets.
- Ability to operate independently and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders in a fast moving environment.
- Experience leading media planning and governance processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
