- Leads the digital deployment of Logistics capabilities and continuous improvement efforts in Transportation and Warehousing, enabling BMS Global Supply Chain (GSC) to deliver on strategic goals.
- Drives digital and AI integration programs across strategic Logistics processes, leading change management initiatives and owning business application implementations.
- Manages cross functional program/project teams, ensuring adherence to deadlines, scope development, and risk management.
- Partners with GCO leaders to deliver sustainable, effective solutions and mentors junior process leaders.
- Collaborates with GSC Pillar leadership, functional teams, IT, finance, and other GCOs to ensure consistent execution and move toward best in class maturity.
- Leverages digital tools to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and drive innovation.
- Manages digital Logistics integration program for multiple markets in partnership with commercial organizations.
- Devises execution strategies to meet project or program timelines and deliverables.
- Develops partnerships with GPS leaders to align ERP and financial systems with business objectives.
- Coordinates execution of programs within the digital and capability roadmap with IT and GPS business functions.
- Manages UAT strategy across GPS and commercial organizations.
- Drives business process excellence to identify and implement improvement opportunities and develop best practices.
- Manages and executes cutover strategies for system go lives.
- Interfaces with internal and external partners (3PL, CMOs) to align assumptions and implications for distribution optimization.
- Uses benchmarking and process KPIs to define opportunities for capability improvement.
- Provides process expertise and ensures accuracy of business process models within capability scope.
- Helps the organization transition through disruption at a faster pace and enables accelerated change management with digital evolution.
- Supports the department's digital SAP strategy and champions emerging technologies (AI, automation) that create competitive advantage.
- Understands impacts of functional decisions on key KPIs such as cost per unit, inventory turnover, fulfillment rates, supplier lead times.
- Models a growth mindset by continually learning and experimenting with digital innovations.
- Familiar with AI and ML system features, including performance, expectation management, and optimization.
- Actively upskills on emerging digital technologies and analytics techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain, including key business drivers, systems architecture, and tool integration (ERP, APS, TMS, Quickbase, etc.).
- Strong understanding of global Logistics processes and experience in process optimization and standardization via digital solutions. Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify, prioritize issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
- B.S. or B.A. in supply chain or logistics management, technical field (biotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or related disciplines) or data science. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management strongly preferred (e.g., APICS CSCP/CPIM).
- Operational excellence experience (Green/Black belt or equivalent) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Logistics Management, including Transportation Management and Logistics 3PL Management.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP. Prior enterprise SAP implementations a plus. Quickbase experience a plus.
- Proven track record of leading transformational projects with high performing cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and deploy innovative ideas that optimize processes and create value.
- Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification highly desired.
- Understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), FDA and other regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, principles and practices.
