Senior Manager, Global Mobility Technical

Job Summary: This role supports Mobility Consulting by managing all technical aspects of individual global assignments, overseeing due diligence, cost projections, tax implications, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of the KPMGLinkE record and related set-up.
• Preparation and documentation of end-to-end mobility assignment due diligence for each associate, covering all aspects and collaborating with internal and external expertise.
• Consultation with the Mobility Consulting team to ensure assignment set-up aligns with business strategy.
• Production, review, and understanding of mobility assignment cost projections, incorporating tax implications identified during due diligence.
• Comparative analysis between mobility packages as required.
• Liaising with business stakeholders for costing approval and proceeding with assignments.
• Management of the annual Cost Projection Refresh process.
• Acting as liaison with local payroll and Mobility Tax Accounting teams to ensure tax implications of international assignments are properly reflected in payroll processing and reporting.
• Preparation, review, and issuance of the Letter of Understanding to the business and manager for presentation to the associate.
• Team lead responsibilities for the Mobility Technical team: managing case load volumes, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and reporting on metrics.

Qualifications

• University/Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Tax preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Global Mobility operations.
• 3+ years of experience in the expatriate tax field (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player, able to collaborate in a virtual diverse environment.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to self manage to deadlines and work independently.
