What the day will look like
- Develop and grow new sales in the Small and Medium Commercial/Corporate segments to achieve personal and team revenue targets.
- Support the Head of Sales in developing sales collateral for broking, flexible benefits, and communication/engagement technology platforms.
- Be familiar and well versed about flexible benefits, health consulting, and technology to bring the latest trends and the best of Aon to the market.
- Actively search for new clients by developing leads through social platforms, cold calling, following up on direct marketing, attending networking events, and converting leads to sales opportunities.
- Execute local market plans and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the small and medium Commercial/Corporate segment, with full responsibility for converting those prospects to clients.
- Develop opportunities by demonstrating risk, insurance, consulting expertise, and the ability to help solve clients' problems in benefits administration and technology.
- Ensure smooth transition of new accounts and strong collaboration with the Broking and Account Servicing team in delivering distinctive client values.
- Manage responses to tenders and develop quality presentations as needed, working with the relevant bid management in-country and regional expertise.
- Facilitate cross-selling activities and Aon United initiatives as directed by the supervisor.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI, CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a consultant or account manager in the Health & Benefits Industry, working with multinational clients across sectors
- Client management experience, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to handle and influence key stakeholders internally and externally
- Self-disciplined and organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on service excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to prepare for a 10-min sales presentation as part of the interview selection process
