Job Description

Now we have reached this pivotal point in our growth and development, we need to hire a Senior Manager - Plant Delivery Mobilisation to own the mobilisation and delivery readiness strategy for their Area and lead the planning, co-ordination and execution of complex work packages across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners.

Specifically this will include: Leading the end-to-end delivery readiness and mobilisation activities for a defined Plant Delivery Area, ensuring that the Area progresses successfully from design maturity through industrialisation and into manufacture and site deliveryIntegrating design, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and operational readiness activities whilst managing programme schedules, dependencies, risks, constraints and opportunities Effectively managing area schedules, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and opportunities Leading and inspiring a team of mobilisation professionals with indirect responsibility across significant cross-functional activities We seek an influential and resilient leader who will have had exposure in regulated or safety critical environments (as you would expect nuclear "know-how" will be of of great interest to us, whilst those from defence, aerospace and energy sectors may all have transferable capability). We will need your application to showcase your experience and knowledge in the following areas: Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and research industry best practice to develop artefacts such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), planning sequencing and detailed schedules, cost estimates including breakdown, risk management and other general project management activities Co-ordinating product delivery from design maturity through manufacture and deployment, including design-for-manufacture, quality planning, supplier readiness and operational preparedness Applying and improving established delivery, mobilisation and governance frameworks whilst managing schedules, dependencies, risks and readiness activities across complex programmes Industrialisation, mobilisation, delivery readiness, new product introduction, operations or major programme delivery - ideally within a complex engineering environment The above is but a summary, a full role profile is available from Alex Jordan (I am easy to find on LinkedIn) and the closing date for applications is 27 -September-2026.

Location & Ways of Working

This role can be based from our Derby, Manchester or Warrington office. Hybrid working is standard, with regular supplier travel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplier activity.

  • A salary between £75,400 and £93,200 depending on experience
  • 17% performance related bonus and a longer term incentive scheme
  • A benefits allowance of £5,000 to build a personalised package
  • Pension - 12% employer, 6% employee
  • Holidays - 28 days + public holidays (option to buy/sell up to 4 days)

  • Life Assurance - 6 pensionable pay £250 one-off home office setup payment

Pay Range: £71,000.00 - £93,187.50
