Role Overview

You will combine deep business and technology consulting experience with strong insurance knowledge to support clients in strategizing, solving, and delivering insurance transformation. You will have expertise across the insurance lifecycle, understand insurance drivers, structures, and how technology and data enable organizational capabilities, and you will build strong client and internal relationships.

Key Responsibilities Leadership
  • Lead high performing, multidisciplinary teams for insurance clients across business and technology workstreams, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and balancing competing priorities.
  • Manage insurance client engagements through their lifecycle, ensuring management of engagement risk, revenue, and profitability to meet/exceed financial commitments.
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants, supporting their growth and contributing to the practice's capability building.
Consulting Excellence
  • Apply core consulting skills to understand insurance client challenges and needs, problem solve issues, and translate these into actionable strategies and deliverables.
  • Utilize understanding and insight into the insurance value chain to design optimal technology solutions to meet insurers' capability demands.
  • Manage activity and teams through significant ambiguity, aligning disparate stakeholder groups to solve challenges and agree on outcomes.
  • Manage end to end project lifecycles, driving delivery outcomes to enable client goals, technology vision, and value expectations.
  • Deliver large scale transformations for insurance clients, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches.
Sales & Business Development
  • Be responsible for managing insurance client account(s) and stakeholders across a portfolio of technology opportunities and projects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your insurance network and market insights to drive growth.
  • Shape compelling insurance proposals and thought leadership, positioning the firm as a partner of choice for strategic transformation.
  • Meet individual and team sales and revenue targets.
Strategy
  • Develop and execute strategies for insurance clients that address complex business challenges, integrating technology, operations, and organizational change.
  • Advise C suite stakeholders on strategic priorities, balancing short term objectives with long term vision.
  • Stay ahead of disruptive trends and industry shifts, ensuring clients are positioned for sustainable success.
Profile Requirements
  • Strong core consulting skills with experience as a Senior Manager in a consulting organisation.
  • Extensive and deep knowledge of insurance organisations and their value chains, business models, processes, capabilities and technology solutions & vendors across General Insurance, Commercial and Specialty, or Life and Pensions.
  • Experience working with clients to create business and technology strategies, solutions and delivery roadmaps.
  • Experience leading business and technology enabled transformation projects within insurance.
  • Proven track record in project delivery, with the ability to deliver high quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
  • Strong client and relationship network within the insurance industry, and experience developing and owning relationships across the market.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, bringing teams together to achieve common goals in complex environments.
  • Extensive experience managing teams and mentoring talent, contributing to practice growth and capability building.
