Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Ballymena, Northern Ireland
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Competitive
MCS Group is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading food/drink manufacturer for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. This role supports both planned and reactive maintenance across production, ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely, while driving performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out breakdown repairs and routine maintenance
- Lead machine changeovers and fault-finding
- Support process improvements and weekend engineering tasks
- Train and mentor maintenance team members
- Maintain records and uphold safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
- Strong fault-finding and supervisory skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
