Job Description: Looker Specialist

Location: Spain

Working hours: EST hours

We are looking for a Looker Specialist with deep expertise in LookML, Gemini AI deployment, and AI-driven analytics. You will play a key role in configuring and optimizing Looker, integrating AI models, and automating data workflows. The role requires strong SQL, GitLab CI/CD, and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, as well as experience with Google Cloud (GCP).

Requirements:

Expertise in Looker, LookML, and Looker admin setup

Strong SQL skills for data modeling & reporting

Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Webpack

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise, including Cloud Run, IAM security, and Vertex AI

Experience in Gemini AI deployment & prompt engineering

Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and ability to work independently

At least Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, manage & optimize Looker dashboards & LookML

Develop AI-powered analytics solutions with Gemini AI & prompt engineering

Optimize SQL-based data models for reporting & insights

Automate deployments & workflows using GitLab CI/CD

Implement Looker customizations using JavaScript/TypeScript & Webpack

Work with GCP (Cloud Run, IAM Security, Vertex AI) for scalable data solutions
