Job Description
Our client is leading FS consultancy looking for a Senior KDB +/q Developer to work on a long term project
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on commercial experience programming in KDB+/q and understanding internal database architecture.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments for Scripting, debugging, and performance profiling.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid background in capital markets, electronic trading, Fixed Income, equities, or market data feeds.
- Software Engineering: Solid grasp of software development life cycles (SDLC), version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders and traders
