Senior Java Software Engineer (Sailpoint environment)

We are Dutch recruitment agency based in Hilversum and we are preferred suppliers directly to the big Banking organisations here in the Netherlands.

For one of our top Banking client based in Amsterdam we are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in Java within Sailpoint environments.

36- 40 hours

2 year project

Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

The project:

To ensure a stable SailPoint IIQ application that runs 24/7, indicating a mission-critical identity management system that demands high availability, reliability, and robust development/operations practices.

Skillset needed:

• Strong seniority, ideally with end-to-end experience in business analysis, design, and development.
• DevOps Experience: Ability to operate in a continuous integration/deployment environment, which includes automating pipelines and maintaining runtime stability.
• Java Expertise (v17):
• Either: 5+ years in Java with strong SailPoint IIQ experience (including use of Java APIs).
• Or: 10+ years in Java and a willingness to learn SailPoint IIQ Java APIs - indicating openness to train someone strong in Java who can pick up SailPoint.
• CI/CD Tools Knowledge:
• Bitbucket/GIT
• Nexus Repository
• Ansible
• Azure DevOps

Bonus Points:

• Linux experience - indicates backend/system-level comfort and shell scripting ability.
• Azure Cloud knowledge - cloud-native or hybrid hosting experience.
• Docker (containers) - knowledge of containerized environments for deployment.
• Angular - front-end awareness is appreciated, perhaps for light UI customization or understanding

Interview process:

One technical interview (60 min Teams chat) and one softs skills (20 mins)
