What you'll be doing- Assist in the supervision of the Ground Services team
- Support with purchasing rare plants and pond wildlife
- Maintain plants to a high standard (watering, pruning and bed upkeep)
- Implement and monitor pest control strategies and support the Grounds team with external landscaping
- Work effectively in hot and humid conditions (our Subtropical Swimming Paradise is heated to 29.5 C year-round)
- Support with additional duties when required during adverse weather

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2026.
- Full time contract, fully flexible
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4 week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes weekends and bank holidays
- Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday
- You will be required to participate in the department's call out rota as the senior representative of the department as required
- FETAC level 2/3 in one of the following: Horticulture / Forestry / Countrywide Management or a related field
- Experience in interior landscaping and / or nursery horticultural industry
- Previous experience in the use of agricultural, forestry and horticultural machinery, along with a certified competency in use of pesticides
- Previous supervisory experience
- Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
