SENIOR INTERIOR ARCHITECT
Posted 1 hour 29 minutes ago by Millimetredesign
We're looking for a Senior Interior Architect to lead the design and delivery of high-impact hospitality and retail environments. This role is for someone who cares deeply about design, about how spaces feel, function and are ultimately experienced, and who can carry that vision through from first sketch to final build.
You'll take ownership of projects (or key workstreams), shaping spatial concepts, developing interior architecture and crafting considered, buildable details. Working closely with clients, consultants, fabricators and contractors, you'll ensure design intent is protected at every stage, and realised on site with precision.
This is a hands-on, design-led role within a collaborative studio where quality, clarity and materiality matter.
What you'll do
- Lead interior architecture across all stages-from concept and spatial strategy to technical delivery
- Translate design ideas into clear, resolved and buildable drawing packages (GA, RCP, elevations, sections, details, schedules)
- Develop thoughtful detailing and material solutions that elevate the overall design
- Coordinate with consultants (MEP, lighting, fire, accessibility) to deliver integrated, cohesive outcomes
- Support site delivery through meetings, inspections, RFIs, submittals, snagging and close-out
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a strong studio design culture
What we're looking for
- Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline
- 7+ years' experience, ideally within hospitality and/or retail design
- Strong design sensibility paired with excellent technical and construction knowledge
- Proven experience delivering well-resolved details (joinery, finishes, ceilings, partitions, signage integration)
- Advanced AutoCAD skills
- A clear communicator, organised, proactive and confident working across teams and project stages
- Full, clean driving licence and access to transport
- Candidates must be currently based in Ireland and hold full eligibility to work
Working hours & office location
- 900am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
- Ongar, Dublin 15
What you'll get in return
- Competitive salary, aligned with experience and market levels
- Company laptop and mobile phone
- Annual bonus
- Life cover
- Education support
- Team trips, events and social outings
- Opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-quality projects
- A flexible, supportive and design-focused workplace
