The Vaud Hospitals Federation (Senior Engineer / Developer (Apache NiFi / API) The Vaud Hospitals Federation (FHVi) is the preferred partner of more than 12 hospitals and regional health establishments in the canton of Vaud. FHVi supports them in the many digital challenges in the health sector and has as its main missions to plan, design, implement, and operate the IT system of its members. There are more than 100 people serving over a hundred geographical sites across three cantons (VD, VS, FR). Senior Engineer / Developer (Apache NiFi / API) The position is open to both women and men. By joining our team responsible for interoperability, you will contribute with the help of our architecture team to the interoperability of our system in the health domain. Your mission: The purpose of the position is to maintain and evolve our systems to ensure their sustainability and reliability. You will play a key role in managing interoperability flows and the connection between the different systems. Main activities and responsibilities: Collaborate with the enterprise architect to evolve interoperability systems and technical architectures. Design and implement interoperability flows in collaboration with managers and business analysts. Ensure the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of systems and guarantee their reliability. Plan and execute technical updates and define and control development and technical documentation rules. Participate in the resolution of level 3 support incidents related to technology watch on data exchange protocols and standards (HL7, FHIR ). Profile sought: - Engineering degree (HES / ETH) or equivalent experience - Minimum of 5 years experience in systems, ETL or object-oriented development - Proven experience with Apache NiFi - Experience in heterogeneous systems and flow management - Experience in a hospital or health environment appreciated - Autonomy and ability to manage end-to-end missions, including N3 run - Technical skills: - Mastery of APIs via REST and/or - Good knowledge of SOA, Microservices architectures - Knowledge of - Solid knowledge of databases: MSSQL, MongoDB - Skills in development and data formats (SQL, XML, JSON, Groovy). - Familiarity with Windows environments and - Knowledge of health interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) appreciated Behavioral skills: - Ability to work independently on flows - Good ability to synthesize and analyze - Team spirit and very good communication skills with technical and medical interlocutors - Structured, methodical, and results-oriented - Respect for internal procedures and standards.
