Senior Industrial Engineer

We're looking for someone to provide Industrial Engineering support to Raytheon sites, functions and customers. The role requires a multi-skilled engineer to develop and drive innovation within manufacturing and wider functions from early customer engagement, through development to set-up and volume manufacture. The Industrial Engineer will provide technical, business and project management support for a variety of products or projects.Analyse and determine equipment, facilities and support requirements for new products, equipment or processes.Provide analysis of current or future requirements using simulation tools, value stream mapping, data analysis, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles etc.Candidate Requirements:Degree in an engineering science e.g. Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, or equivalent relevant experienceAbility to work with mathematical concepts and statistical analysis, SPC, modelling, queuing theory, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.Ability to represent Raytheon at all levels for internal and external customers.Significant Industrial Engineering experience and extensive knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools, techniques and methods.Experience of developing new process, areas or expansion including planning, costing and implementation. Ability to create detailed information quickly and present effectively at customer or various management levels.Knowledge of SMT, units and box build plus site facilitation, supply chain requirements and material handling.Ability to mentor or lead other engineers or projects with extensive Industrial Engineering knowledge.Knowledge of simulation tools such as Witness or similar.
