A unique opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded luxury brand as Senior HR Manager on a maternity cover contract. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role will take ownership of the day-to-day HR function, providing expert generalist support across the full employee lifecycle while partnering closely with leaders across the business.
This is a hands on, visible role requiring an experienced HR professional who can confidently manage operational HR activity, coach stakeholders, and ensure the smooth running of the function during a period of continued growth and international expansion.
The RoleAs Senior HR Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service across the business, including:
- Employee relations, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management
- Coaching and supporting managers on people related matters
- Recruitment partnering and talent attraction activities
- Onboarding and offboarding processes
- Flexible working requests and absence management
- Payroll oversight and approvals
- Policy development and employment law guidance
- Employee lifecycle management and HR operations
- Performance and compensation review processes
- HR reporting, analytics and people projects
- Supporting ongoing growth initiatives, including retail expansion plans
You will work closely with the HR Assistant and partner with stakeholders across the UK, France, Italy and the US.
About YouWe are seeking an experienced HR generalist who is comfortable operating independently while navigating a collaborative and highly visible environment.
You will bring:
- 7+ years' HR experience within a fast paced commercial environment
- Strong UK employment law knowledge
- Proven experience handling complex ER matters
- Experience managing payroll processes and HR operations
- The ability to build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders
- Strong coaching and influencing skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive, pragmatic and solutions focused approach
- Experience in luxury retail or creatively and commercially driven environments highly desirable
Experience supporting international employee populations would be advantageous. Exposure to France and/or Italy would be beneficial but is not essential.
