Job Description
Senior HR Business PartnerAre you an experienced Senior HR Business Partner who can act as a Strategic Advisor to the Site Senior Leadership team, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.In this role you will be focused on driving organisational effectiveness, talent strategy, employee engagement and change management across the site.A key part of this role also includes managing client expectations, ensuring clear communication, realistic timelines, and HR deliverables that fully comply with policy and legislation.You and your role: Strategic PartnershipPartner with the site General Manager to develop and implement HR Strategies that support site/business goalsProvide expert advice on organisation design, workforce planning and business changeAct as a trusted advisor on people related mattersCommunicate clearly were legal or policy boundaries shape HR decisions, timelines, or outcomes.Talent Management and Development Lead talent reviews, succession planning and leadership development initiativesIdentify skills gaps and support learning and development strategiesDrive Performance Management processes and cultureLead stakeholder engagements and communication strategies to support successful adoption of change, supporting workforce transitionChange Management Partner with the GM/Snr team to plan and deliver organisational change initiatives, including restructures, transformation and new operating modelsAssess organisation readiness for change, identifying risks and capability gaps, highlighting these to the GM and customer (at appropriate time)Develop and implement change management strategies aligned to the site objectivesDrive adoption of new processes and ways of workingData & Insights Use people data and insights to inform business decisions and identify trends impacting performance and engagementMonitor trends (attrition, engagement, absence & performance) and recommendationsCustomer Relationship Manage client expectations, ensuring HR commitments, timelines, and service levels are realistic and compliant with legislation and internal policies.Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients understand HR frameworks, constraints, and the rationale behind decisions.Your Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified.
- Previous experience working within a large logistics or operational business at HRBP level or above.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential; previous 3PL experience is advantageous.
- Strong ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and partner with senior leaders to drive performance.
- Expertise in employee relations, workforce planning, change and strategic HR management.
- Familiarity with HRIS, Payroll, and ATS systems, and data-driven HR strategies.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, analytical mindset, and ability to drive HR impact.
