Job Description

We are partnering with a global events organization to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner supporting leaders across the EMEA region.

This is a high-impact, strategic role within a dynamic, internationally distributed People team, offering the opportunity to influence business outcomes through people strategy while remaining close to day-to-day operations.

Summary

The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across EMEA, aligning people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

This individual will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategy across multiple countries, operating in a lean, hands-on HR environment.

Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across EMEA to align people strategy with business goals
  • Provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent decisions
  • Act as a trusted advisor on performance, engagement, and retention strategies
Workforce Planning & Growth
  • Support long-term workforce planning and organizational effectiveness across the region
  • Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and enable scalable growth
  • Partner with leadership on evolving team structures and capability needs
Change Management
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives across EMEA
  • Guide leaders through periods of transformation with a focus on communication, engagement, and culture
Employee Experience & Culture
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Gather and interpret employee feedback to inform continuous improvement
Talent & Performance
  • Partner with leaders on talent development, succession planning, and capability building
  • Support performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
Employee Relations
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters across multiple EMEA countries
  • Lead investigations and support resolution of complex workplace issues
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant people practices across jurisdictions
Compensation & Reward
  • Advise on job leveling, compensation decisions, and market alignment
  • Support salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs
People Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies across EMEA
  • Partner with People Operations on HR systems, payroll, and process improvements
  • Support ongoing development of people processes and systems
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior or executive leaders
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations across Europe / EMEA
  • Experience working in international, matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Experience supporting growth, transformation, or organizational change
Additional Information
  • This is a regional role focused on EMEA, supporting multiple countries and leadership teams
  • The role operates within a lean HR structure, requiring breadth and adaptability
  • Travel across the region may be required
  • Compensation budgeted at £90,000 - £100,000 salary + Bonus + LTI
