Located in Dublin, the Workday Accounts Receivable, Collections Team is a diverse group of customer service focused people with an invaluable mix of experience and backgrounds.

About the Role

Workday is expanding its Global AR Operations team in Dublin and is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Analyst, Collections. The position is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer credit accounts, providing customer service, troubleshooting and resolving past due balances, and coordinating with other Workday functional teams to address issues.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a portfolio of customer accounts, including weekly/monthly invoice inquiries to troubleshoot and resolve past due balances.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and distribute customer statements.
  • Resolve purchase order issues and perform customer account reconciliations as needed.
  • Analyze past due accounts and recommend the best course of action to resolve balances.
  • Assist in reconciling transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts.
  • Assist in the monthly calculation of the bad debt reserve.
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries.
  • Advocate for best outcomes with consideration to customer impact.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure needs are met or develop ideas to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate across teams and communicate effectively to senior management, including presentations.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or relevant customer facing experience.
  • Accounting or other business degree preferred.
  • A genuine passion for customer service.
  • Excellent follow through abilities and interest in seeing things reach a resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Organized, detail oriented and accurate.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Solution oriented.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
