About the roleWe are seeking an experienced professional in the charity sector to join our London/Brussels/Berlin offices. The role involves driving compliance, tools, and systems improvements, leading process enhancements, and advising on funder compliance to support our dynamic fundraising team. Part-time (3 days/week) or full-time options available.
Meet your ManagerUnder the supervision of Laura Mertsching, based in London, who joined ClientEarth in 2022. Laura has a background in improving policies, processes, and tools related to funder compliance and efficiency, with extensive experience in the humanitarian and international development sectors.
Main Duties- Contribute to the global Fundraising Strategy by improving policies, processes, and tools across the funding cycle to ensure effective internal operations.
- Plan and implement priority initiatives such as policy updates, risk matrix development, and streamlining income processes, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Support decision-making within the funding portfolio and review new funding agreements, advising staff during contracting.

Role requirements- Experience in funder compliance, project management, or fundraising within medium to large global non-profits (essential).
- Understanding of financial, reputational, and legal risks involved in funding opportunities and agreements (essential).
- Experience in implementing new processes and working across departments with diverse expertise (desirable).
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Raiser's Edge (desirable).
