About Limio

Limio is on a mission to enable Go-To-Market teams to accelerate revenue by optimising every sales channel. Online, through partners, sales teams or AI agents, Limio makes omnichannel commerce simple. Limio is a startup founded by Amaury de Closset and Daniel Morton (GoCardless, Zuora, BCG, Three) and backed by leading founders and angels. We count OpenText, The Economist, and Employ as customers.

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Technology team to champion good development practices, increase team productivity and tackle the most exciting challenges. Limio, a growing startup, values hands on engagement from our developers. Expect to contribute directly, ship code, and be passionate about creating a meaningful impact working within a close knit team.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own and drive the architecture of our core product. This is a hands on opportunity to shape the future of our platform. You'll collaborate closely with other full stack engineers, offering mentorship to junior team members and lead the way in resolving intricate back end challenges that shape our future.

We are excited about the possibilities of AI and use it as a productivity enhancer and in the software lifecycle. We use tools such as co pilot, cursor, codex, claude code and coderabbit everyday. As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for further AI adoption to improve developer efficiency, as well as incorporating AI into our products.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Set the direction for coding standards for the team
  • Lead by example in PR reviews, pair programming, and design sessions
  • Mentor junior engineers and elevate the bar for code quality across the team
  • Shape engineering culture by embedding automation, testing, AI, CI/CD, and release best practices
Engineering Leadership
  • Architect and lead the implementation of a modernised backend architecture
  • Refactor legacy code into clean, reusable, and well documented components
  • Drive performance, scalability, and security improvements across the stack
  • Champion the adoption of React Server Components and other modern frontend capabilities
  • Improve the capabilities of Limio API and Limio MCP
AI Driven
  • Lead and promote the adoption and integration of AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) into our engineering workflow to unlock new levels of team efficiency.
  • Champion best practices for using AI to enhance code quality, review cycles, and overall software development lifecycle.
  • Figure out new use cases for AI and push the team to be on the cutting edge of AI possibilities. Experimentation with AI is actively encouraged.
Customer-Centric Development
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to build features that matter
  • Create technical documentation that is engaging for developers
  • Support customer onboarding and adoption of new frameworks with technical expertise
  • Contribute to customer support when needed - yes, even our CEO and CTO do
Our Stack
  • Frontend: React, Typescript
  • Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, MSW
  • APIs: REST
You'll Thrive Here If You Have:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development
  • You are excited by AI and use it well in your current role
  • Production experience with Node.js, React, and AWS
  • Strong architectural instincts and a track record of setting technical direction
  • The ability to write clear technical documentation and thoughtful design docs
  • A bias for action and the confidence to work autonomously on complex problems
  • A natural appetite to help and mentor others, thinking of yourself as an enabler as much as a doer
  • Experience working in fast paced environments (startups, scale ups, or lean teams)
Bonus Points
  • Experience building AI features and the technical infrastructure supporting it
Why Join Limio?
  • Salary: £70,000-£120,000 based on experience
  • Equity: Significant stock options-we believe in shared success
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday + public holidays, cycle to work scheme, EV scheme, pension plan, MacBook and equipment.
  • Training: 5 paid training days per year and a training budget for events and courses.
  • Hybrid working: 3+ days/week in our London Bridge office
Interview Process
  • Intro call with our team
  • Culture & values interview
  • Technical interview and skills test
  • Final conversation with CEO/CTO
  • Reference check with a previous manager
Please Note
  • We are not hiring junior developers at this time
  • We are focused on building a strong, in office engineering culture and therefore this is not a remote role
