About you
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our in-house team in Palma. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable applications and database systems, working closely with our product and marketing teams. This role includes a clear path to leading a small team-we're looking for someone ready to take that step soon.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using PHP, MySQL, and Laravel (or Symfony)
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries
- Improve application performance, security, and scalability
- Lead code reviews and support best practices across the team
- Collaborate with other developers, marketers, and designers
- Contribute to planning, architecture decisions, and documentation
- Help onboard and mentor new developers as the team grows
Requirements
- 5+ years as a developer or DevOps engineer
- Strong experience with PHP, MySQL, and modern backend frameworks
- Comfortable with JavaScript (vanilla; React or Vue.js is a plus)
- Experience in Linux environments (Ubuntu) and version control (Git)
- Clear communicator with a proactive, team-first mindset
- Interest or experience in leading small teams
