Join Smart DCC at a pivotal time of transformation, where you'll play a key role in shaping financial planning, reporting, and governance as we transition to new regulatory and budgeting frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional to make immediate impact in a fast paced, high change environment, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting Board level outputs.
How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future- Lead FP&A transformation activity, driving improvements to planning, forecasting and reporting processes aligned to new regulatory (Ex Ante) requirements
- Deliver high quality monthly management information, forecasts and budgeting outputs for Executive and Board level stakeholders
- Support the transition to new regulatory frameworks (including DCC2 licence requirements), ensuring readiness and compliance
- Strengthen governance, controls and auditability across all FP&A outputs and reporting processes
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight, performance narratives and decision support
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong FP&A experience in complex or regulated environments
- Proven ability to operate effectively in contract roles, delivering high quality outputs with minimal supervision
- Experience of forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting, ideally within regulatory or framework driven environments (e.g. Ex Ante)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior leadership and Board level audiences
- Advanced analytical, communication and technical skills (including Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools such as Power BI)
