Harrington Starr has partnered with an innovative financial technology firm transforming how investment and financial services organisations manage and leverage complex data.

They are looking to hire a hands-onForward Deployed Engineering Leadto lead a client-facing engineering pod, combining technical delivery, team leadership and commercial ownership. This is a trueplayer-coachrole, where you will remain close to the technology and client engagements while helping shape delivery standards, processes and the growth of a newly established function.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in financial services technology
• Strong hands-on experience withC# and/or Python, data platforms and cloud-native technology
• Strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle across front, middle and back office
• Proven experience delivering complex, client-facing technology projects
• Previous technical leadership experience, including mentoring and developing engineers
• Experience working with asset managers, asset owners or asset servicing organisations is highly desirable
• Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor
• Interest in applyingAI and LLM toolingto improve engineering delivery and client outcomes
