We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Florist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, excellent organisational skills. This role involves leading floral arrangements, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional floral products for various occasions. The Senior Florist will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and creativity within our floral shop.

Duties

• Designing and creating bespoke floral arrangements for events, weddings, and retail displays
  Supervising and mentoring junior florists to ensure consistency and quality in all creations.
• Managing stock levels, including flowers, foliage, and related materials, with an organised approach to merchandising
• Assisting with the selection of flowers and plant materials based on seasonal availability and client preferences
• Providing excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice
• Overseeing the maintenance of the shop environment, ensuring cleanliness and organisation
• Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh flowers and materials
• Applying knowledge of horticulture and gardening to advise clients on plant care and maintenance
  Qualifications

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Florist, ideally two years
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong merchandising skills to create attractive displays that enhance sales opportunities
• Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
• A creative flair combined with practical skills in floral arrangement techniques
