Senior Financial Planning Administrator
Location: Cheadle - Fully office based
Salary up to £32,000 plus benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
NJR Recruitment is currently working with a highly respected, independent financial planning firm to recruit a Senior Financial Planning Administrator.
This is an integral role within the business, providing essential support to Financial Planners and delivering an excellent, client-centric service. The successful candidate will join a busy and collaborative team where accuracy, communication and the ability to work to agreed timescales are key.
About the Role
As a Senior Financial Planning Administrator , you will work closely with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and other key stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality financial planning and advice services.
You will be responsible for a varied workload, supporting clients directly while also ensuring the Financial Planners have everything they need to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clients and Financial Planners via telephone, email and video
- Handling client enquiries and liaising with providers
- Promoting the Personal Financial Portal and processing referrals
- Booking appointments and managing Financial Planner diaries
- Preparing complex meeting packs and supporting Financial Planners with client meeting preparation
- Submitting instructions to platforms and providers
- Working closely with Financial Planners on all aspects of their day-to-day client work
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the office when required
- Opening, scanning and distributing incoming mail
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, back-office systems and shared folders
- Contacting new and existing clients to obtain information on behalf of Financial Planners
- Working closely with Paraplanners and other stakeholders to support clients and the delivery of financial planning services
- Providing general administration and coordination support as required
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Financial Planning support or administration role within financial services
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Intelligent Office (IO)
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- A proactive, adaptable and client-focused approach
