Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen within a leading energy and infrastructure organisation for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Operations function, supporting financial reporting, governance, and business performance across a large and complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Own period end close and consolidation across group and business units, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Lead statutory audit coordination and act as a key contact for external auditors.
• Oversee accounting and reporting controls, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
• Drive finance process improvements and support transformation initiatives within Finance Operations.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years PQE. Experience in Energy and Infrastructure is desirable.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) and analytical capability.
• Confident communicator with experience engaging auditors and senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail focused, and comfortable working in a complex environment.
