About the Role

The Senior Finance Business Partner leads operations, clients, and leadership across world-class sports and entertainment Levy venues in Scotland. The role is central to driving profitable growth, strong financial control, and the successful mobilisation of new venue contracts through insight-led decision making and disciplined governance. It suits a dynamic, hands on, and commercially focused finance professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced hospitality and events environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance and data insights.
• Strengthen financial control and reporting.
• Lead the finance workstream for new contract mobilisation.
• Improve systems, processes, and automation.
• Support delivery of Compass MAP (Management & Performance Reporting) plans.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• A personable self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and operators alike.
• Completed qualifications such as AAT, a finance degree, or QBE.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills, with experience using Power BI and SAP.
• Strong management accounting experience.
• Experience with financial systems and ERP implementations.
• Excellent commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management capability.
• The flexibility to travel and work across different locations as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospitality, events, stadium, or multi-site environments.
• Previous mobilisation or project-based finance experience.
• Knowledge of contract finance and commercial terms.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary

• £75,000 Plus bonus
