Your new role
In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of finance professionals, providing expert financial guidance and strategic insight across both academic and professional service areas. You will support financial operations for both the college and its affiliated academies, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.This is a unique opportunity to influence high-level decision-making, mentor finance colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in financial practices. You will be instrumental in developing business cases, training budget holders, and enhancing the quality of financial reporting and modelling across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

Full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)

Extensive experience in finance business partnering, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-specialists

Demonstrated expertise in business case development, cost modelling, and financial forecasting
