Office Based: Portsmouth (2-3 days per week)

Covering: South Coast (National travel may be required)

Remuneration: £55,000 - £75,000neg + Discretionary Bonus

Responsibilities

• Senior Estimator position promoting a range of Industrial & Commercial Roofing projects
• Dealing with inbound project enquiries and reviewing scopes of work
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Carrying out site surveys and measurements to compile further information for quotation
• May be required to visit sites to understand and improve any possible site risks, schedules and logistics
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information as required
• Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
• Producing formal quotations to clients
• May be required to do tasks outside of estimating to assist the team
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications

• Must have Estimating experience within the Roof refurbishment sector
• Ideal to have experience working on commercial and industrial roofing projects
• A related degree / qualification would be highly advantageous (construction management, civil engineering etc.)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of current building regulations
• Strong character that's not afraid to help the team when necessary
• Confident and articulate
