About you:
  • Proven experience in construction estimating or related commercial roles on large-scale projects
  • Strong grasp of construction methods, cost planning, and contract types relevant to UK and Irish markets
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem solving skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Confident communicator capable of managing stakeholders effectively at all levels
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent (Level 8 or higher)
  • Experience with estimating software and digital tools is advantageous
What you'll do:
  • Lead the creation and submission of detailed, competitive cost estimates for complex projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to gather accurate pricing and define project scope
  • Analyse drawings and specifications to ensure complete scope capture and identify value engineering opportunities
  • Manage multiple tender processes simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Contribute to bid strategy, risk analysis, and post tender reviews to optimise success rates
