Key Responsibilities

• Lead and resolve complex technical challenges relating to nuclear waste management.
• Produce high quality technical reports, documentation, and strategic guidance.
• Deliver clear presentations and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to long term capability development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
• Contribute to business development and wider consultancy growth plans.
• Support planning, permitting, compliance, and environmental assurance activities.

Experience Required

• Strong industry experience in the nuclear sector, including decommissioning planning and delivery, integrated waste management strategies and waste characterisation, environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Leadership or line management experience.
• Strong technical authoring and peer review capability.
• Previous consultancy experience delivering strategic or complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent).
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer/Scientist status is highly desirable.
• Additional nuclear safety or waste management certifications are an advantage.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
