Senior Engineer/Platform Engineer

Role: Senior Backend Engineer - C# .NET

Location | Remote (EU/UK Time Zone Preferred)

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000

Are you a senior .NET, C# engineer, with specific strengths across platform and data products?

This client is an established, fast-growing Ad-tech company helping clients increase their ad revenue via utilisation of high impact data solutions. They prioritise collaboration, autonomy, and impact in an environment that encourages 'fail fast mentality' and taking initiative.

This role will be working on a crucial platform, central to the business- this platform powers internal analytics and data to optimise results and decisions. This role offers the chance to shape a high-scale, business-critical system at the heart of our operations.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and evolve a globally distributed analytics Back End
• Build and optimize C# microservices for processing and routing large-scale data
• Improve data ingestion, retention, and aggregation pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps and Front End teams on new data features
• Monitor and ensure system health using Prometheus and Grafana

Experience:

• Experience working as a senior Engineer, specifically using modern .NET, C#, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve. Adopt a fail fast mentality in delivery
• 8+ years of Back End engineering experience- experience working in smaller teams would be an advantage.
• Strong C# and PostgreSQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployment
• Ownership mindset and experience with architectural decision-making
• An understanding of working with Real Time data systems
