Senior Engineer, Subsea Control Systems 
Location: Basingstoke, UK
Contract: 12 months plus

A Subsea Control Systems engineer will support Eni's worldwide offshore deepwater projects. Responsibilities include preparing and completing EPCI contracts, ensuring design meets requirements, preparing technical documentation, following up supplier calls, reviewing and approving FEED, tender and detailed engineering, acting as Company Representative for Subsea Control systems, applying company internal standards and HSEQ policies, and collaborating with other disciplines.
Responsibilities- Prepare and complete large EPCI contracts for offshore projects across all phases.
- Ensure design of Subsea Control Systems meets project requirements, codes, and best practices while reducing costs and risks.
- Prepare technical documentation (data sheet, functional specifications, preliminary electrical and hydraulic analysis, etc.) for all phases.
- Follow up supplier calls for tender & selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.).
- Review and approve FEED, tender, and detailed engineering performed by contractors.
- Act as Company Representative for all activities related to Subsea Control Systems.
- Apply company internal standards and HSEQ policies.
- Collaborate with Subsea Systems department and other disciplines.
- Extensive experience as Subsea Control Systems engineer across all project phases (concept to execution).
- Experience in technical design from preliminary engineering through detailed design.
- Experience in Umbilicals System and Subsea Chemical Injection System design and operation.
- Experience in Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessment.
- Experience in supervising contractors and vendors equipment and deliverables.
- Experience supporting projects onshore/offshore testing - Control System FAT, EFAT, Integration with DCS/ICCS.
- Familiar with relevant international codes and subsea standards, especially API 17F.
- Experience assisting during control system pre commissioning activities onboard installation vessel, FPSO or Platform.
- Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCad.
- Extensive experience in Subsea Control System design, testing, commissioning during project execution (advantage).
