Job Description

This role is available to current employees within IT Services at the University of Leeds only

Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 7 July 2025 (exact date TBC)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

You will be part of a team delivering and supporting services that underpin a range of business critical activities and projects. This will focus on developing and supporting applications in .Net Core / C# (LTS currently 8) and SQL Server.

You will use your skills, knowledge and experience to develop and maintain .Net Core applications using C# and providing high quality solutions in accordance with IT change management principles.

In order to be successful in the role you will have knowledge of maintaining SQL Server T-SQL, and proven experience of analysing and diagnosing issues in .Net Applications (Console apps, Azure Functions, Web APIs and MVC Web Apps). You will also possess excellent communication skills that will be utilised when working with a wide range of IT colleagues and users.
