Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and participate in the production and delivery of the geometrical design
  • Check design and drawings prepared by other engineers
  • Undertake traffic signs and road markings design
  • Carry out RRRAP assessments
  • Define Road Safety Audit briefs and responses
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering
  • Achieved Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or be working towards it
  • A range of experience working in a design environment on Highways projects in the UK
  • Demonstrable skills in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridge (DMRB)
  • Experience in Civil3D and Autodesk products
  • A sound understanding of CDM Regulations
  • Preferable experience in ProjectWise
