This is more than just a job; this is a legacy.We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Senior Engineer - Structural Integrityto be involved in a game changing role as we strive to make the nuclear industry more diverse.The Senior Engineer - Structural Integrity will work within the Component and Structural Integrity Integration team on the development of the structural integrity requirements and guidance, and assist in their implementation in component designs and across the Environment, Safety, Security and Safeguards (E3S) case.The key responsibilities are to:Develop the structural integrity case for the UK generic design of the Rolls-Royce SMR.Assist in the implementation of structural integrity requirements and guidance across the business, acting as a stakeholder for work across the design and through the lifecycle.Continue the development and refinement of the beyond code requirements which meet the UK expectations for highest reliability components.Develop requirements for lower classification components to meet UK legislative requirementsDefine and refine requirements for other international regulatory regimes and expectations as required.Interface with regulators as required through written communication or technical meetings.Be the point of contact for work within the defined scope, managing multiple stakeholders across different functions.Responsible for outputs within defined scope being to-time and to-quality, through programme support, technical reviewing and checking.Show appropriate leadership behaviours and advocate for the team / department.You'll be joining a forward-thinking organisation that values transparency, fairness, and innovation.
