We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a specialist civil engineering contractor on a major substation project in Suffolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering a complex infrastructure scheme, including:
- Substation civil works
- Large-scale earthworks
- Reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures
- Associated road infrastructure
- Overseeing engineering activities across sections of the project
- Managing and mentoring Site Engineers
- Ensuring technical compliance with specifications and design
- Reviewing and approving setting out, QA documentation, and ITPs
- Liaising with project management, design teams, and subcontractors
- Permanent or freelance (PAYE Umbrella) engagement
- Competitive salary or day rate (negotiable)
- Leadership role on a high-profile project
