Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead their ER function and provide strategic guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of consistent and effective employee relations case management support to managers and employees.
- Coach and support line managers on the full spectrum of ER issues
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of people policies and processes.
- Manage and coordinate responses to external employment claims, balancing legal and business risks appropriately.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including managing colleague consultation processes.
- Manage and develop a small team of ER specialists
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and proven experience managing complex ER cases.
- Highly self-motivated, able to operate independently and deliver results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Adaptable and calm under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised, with effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Confident in making sound, balanced decisions that align with both business and legal considerations.
